No Feets on Seats?  
Are you kidding?  Perhaps they would get better results by not talking down to the ridership. 
I’m thinking the real problem with Grand River Transit is so many unfortunate policies are in place, probably because the GRT decision makers don’t actually use transit. 
I rode GO trains for years, and it was a given that people along in the fours could put feel on seats.  It was allowed. Of course, instead of the GRT carpet fabric seats, GO Trains cleverly have vinyl seats that wipe down easily.  I’m sure it eliminates the need for a budget for wretched air fresheners the GRT routinely douses buses with (presumably after unfortunate accidents).
