Ann Cavoukian, Ph.D.
Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner delivered the keynote speech “Access by Design - Time To Change the Paradigm” at the GO Open Data Conference in Kitchener, on May 11th, 2013.
Cavoukian has been working to promote the idea that privacy for individuals must be the default, and has introduced Privacy by Design to promote personal security and protect citizens from  Surveillance By Design.
Although Dr. Cavoukian advocates for open data, I couldn’t find much in the way of free culture photos of her floating around the Internet. I’ve rectified that deficiency by uploading this image to the Wikimedia Commons, and posting it on her Wikipedia page. I’ve more photos of Ann Cavoukian and other GO Open Data presemters I’ll be posting on  visual free libre over the upcoming weeks.
