This little guy was so sweet, and you mught say, “ahhhh”, but this isn’t a photograph that reaches out and grabs you by the throat.  Photo contest judges tend to want drama.

Although I like this one a lot, the focus isn’t sharp (seems harder to achieve crisp focus with digital) which seems a biggie for photo contests

This was one of the runner-ups that almost made it into the contest.  One of the things I especially like is that the decorative heads on the upper windows are a different design than the ones on the lower level.   How awesome is that? #whyilikeoldbuildings
The 2012 Kitchener Public Library Photo Contest allows only a total of three entries over four categories.  I won’t post my three choices before I know how they fared with the judges.
