This is where hardened criminals used to go in Canada… Not so long ago, the Don Jail was decommissioned…. it was going to undergo extensive renovations and become a hospital.  And today the Canadian government may pass Bill C-10 which will usher in a new era of super jails at untold public expense at a time when crime rates have been steadily dropping for years.
