in my area especially, i know a lot of people who have or will try to get cyclists off the road... it's very unfortunate. I'm happy to see some supporters!
Bicycles deserve to be on the road, and there should be safe lanes for them in every city. Too often there are bike lanes that suddenly disappear (when they become inconvenient for the municipal planners). Often at times like that it is safest for the cyclist to be assertive and take up a whole lane so they cans be visible.
