Libreleft Books is my personal self publishing “imprint,” chosen because I liked the bilingual alliteration. The name was made by joining the “Libre” as in free-libre and the “Left” as in copy-left to make a name with a ring to it, a deliberate combination chosen by a free culture advocate.
The “L” is a remix of the Letter “L” from Manfred Klein’s Gotica Bastard “charity-ware” font, which I have altered by the transformation of the top serif into a copy-left arrow.
